330 Emma Rd - Finished Basement
Expansion in Green Path Commons
Following the original build at 330 Emma Rd in Green Path Commons, the basement was completed to extend both the home’s living space and functionality while maintaining its Net-Zero, Green Built Platinum certification.
The expansion introduced 2 additional bedrooms and 1 bathroom, effectively doubling the home’s finished square footage. A sleek mottled concrete floor, paired with light walls and custom bathroom tile, creates a refined balance of durability and modern design.
To support the larger layout, additional solar panels were installed, ensuring the home continues to operate at Net-Zero energy performance. This transformation highlights how sustainable building practices and thoughtful craftsmanship can adapt and grow with a home’s evolving needs.
The former sunroom was reimagined as a vaulted dormer with a screened-in porch, opening the home to expansive views of the surrounding woods and flooding the interior with natural light. Alongside the architectural improvements, we brought the home’s energy performance up to our standards, reducing long-term energy use while extending the durability and lifespan of the property.
